Welcome to Ardnahoe Nursery

Ardnahoe Nursery has been a thriving establishment since it opened in 1971.  It is a standalone establishment based in the Toryglen area of Glasgow. The nursery provides places for 70 full time equivalent children aged 3-5 and is open 8.00am-6.00pm 52 weeks of the year.  Parents and carers can choose to have their child in the nursery all year round or during term time only. Our nursery role is made up mainly of children from the local area. 

The nursery is situated on the edge of Glasgow City Council and South Lanarkshire Council. The intake of children in the main is from Glasgow City Council although there are a few children from the neighbouring authority. The nursery is always busy therefore a waiting list is necessary.

The building is all on one level, it has an open plan layout with 1 small snug room which is used for the delivery or a range of activities throughout the year and the main playrooms can be separated by concertina doors during special events.  We are nestled in the middle of the local houses and benefit from a very large beautiful gardens and playground to the rear of the building.
