Toryglen is situated in the south side of Glasgow.  The area borders King's Park, Govanhill and Rutherglen. 

There is a 24 hour supermarket close by and also a variety of local shops on Edinbeg Place, Aitkenhead Road and Castlemilk Road.  There is a mobile shop which serves the surrounding area. 

The Geoff Shaw Centre is nearby on Kerrylamont Avenue and Toryglen Community Hall is on Prospecthill Circus  Both halls provide a range of activities for the local residents.

St Brigid's Roman Catholic Church is on Prospecthill Road and Toryglen Church is on Glenmore Avenue
